My beloved and highly respected teacher, Geoffrey Tozer, just passed away yesterday. He died at home from liver failure, at the aged of 54 ...
I was so shocked and saddened with this horrible news coz I will never see you again ...As a great pianist , teacher , I'm sure he will be missed greatly.
I will never forget every inspirational lesson that you had given, you really impressed me and opened a door for me to enter to a new world of piano perfomance technique and interpretation. I will never forget your support, guidance....of course , your Smile !!
收到您已離世的消息 , 我感到非常的愕然及悲傷 , 因為我再也沒有機會去拜訪您 , 沒有機會親口再次感謝您對我的教導 ...
這幾天 , 我的腦海里不停地出現我和您上課的情景 ...您的用心教導、您那平易近人的笑臉、您的聲音、您的鋼琴演奏 ...一幕幕地 重現在我的腦海里 。我還記得我的鋼琴課是在每星期一的早上九點鐘 , 雖然您非常忙碌於演奏及教學 , 但您重來都不會遲到及缺課。
貴為世界級的演奏家 , 您一點架子也沒有, 作為劣徒的我 , 您總是毫無保留、用心的教導我 ...您這種高尚的品德 , 也令所有的人都那麽尊敬您。
我會把您所教導的..您對音樂的執著及熱愛 , 一一的教導及影響我的學生 , 把您的精神傳下去..
我會永遠懷念您 -- - 我尊敬的老師 --
